Black Women Are Done

As 2025 approaches, us Black women have taken, as it's been coined, "The Great Step Back." Black women are done, and we are reclaiming our time, we are prioritizing rest, we are focusing on our mental health, we are becoming more selective about what and who we will be fighting for, and we will not be explaining ourselves during this process.

Historically, many people rely on Black women to lead change, fight for others, and speak up in spaces that others are silenced. However, these next four years will be different, and possibly without our help or our voices. This nation has proved time and time again that it doesn't care about us. We are taking a step back.
